Cathy, let it grow....Dana, we need to live closer!<br /><br />Cathy, let it grow. Once it sends up the scape (flower stalk) you can cut that off. It will help the plant focus its energy on growing the bulb. Eat the scape, they're tasty! Then you wail until the leaves start to yellow and die off. Then loosen the soil and pull it up. Usually we pull out a few to check if they're ready but since you only have one you'll just have to give it a try when you think it's time. No matter what it should be tasty!<br /><br />High five on the farming Robyn Campbell! I survived soccer. Hooray! Looking forward to enjoying family and farm all summer.
