My Favorite Picture Books

I'm so excited! I'm featured on Sergio Ruzzier's blog today! I love Sergio's books. I can so relate with AMANDINA and I love, love, love THE ROOM OF WONDERS.

Sergio asked me if I would share my list of favorite picture books with him. Of course, I said yes! It was hard to narrow it down, but I got the list down to ten I really love. If you want to check out my list you can see it on Sergio's blog.

I'd love to check out some of your favorite picture books if you want to share them with me in the comments. I'm always up for new favorites!

  1. What a lovely task (and I think you've put together a beautiful list!) I think my most inspiring favourites at the moment are Jane Godwin's 'All Through the Year" and 'The Secret Lives of Princesses' by Philippe Lechermeier. I think :).

2.Barn Dance, written by Bill Martin and John Archambault, illustrated by Ted Rand

Nothing quiet about any of those, Buck-o.

  3. Hi Anna! Thanks! I've never heard of those titles. I'll definitely have to check them out!

Lisha!!! I love Officer Buckle and Gloria. Unfortunately my little guy does not, but as we all know, he is pretty anti-safety so I think all of the safety tips just rub him the wrong way. *heavy sigh*
I don't think I've ever read Barn Dance which I find strange because I should have read all of Bill Martin's books. I believe I have read King Bidgood's in the Bathtub but am not 100% sure. I will have to check all of these out since they are your fav's plus I always need more noise around here! ;-)
